Canceled classes
due to weather:

Tune in to the following for announcements:

  • Radio: WTDY 1670 AM, WMGN 98 FM, WZEE 104 FM
  • TV: WKOW-27, WISC-3

How it works for Waunakee Classes:

  • If the Waunakee School district is having LATE START then the morning classes that begin prior to 9:00 a.m. will be canceled.
  • If the Waunakee School district calls EARLY RELEASE, then the EVENING classes will be canceled.
  • If the Waunakee School District cancels their evening sports activities, then the EVENING classes will be canceled.

How it works for Fitchburg (Verona) Classes:

  • If the Verona (Fitchburg) School district is having LATE START then the morning classes that begin prior to 9:00 a.m. will be canceled.
  • If the Verona School district calls EARLY RELEASE, then the EVENING classes will be canceled.
  • If the Verona School District cancels their evening sports activities, then the EVENING classes will be canceled.

Credits are given for cancellations due to teacher illness or absence. As is common practice, cancellations due to weather or other circumstances beyond Musical Pathways' control will not receive a credit. However, if you would like to visit an alternate class as a make-up, please call to schedule.

How we will communicate:
Should classes be canceled, we will send an announcement via Constant Contact email. The radio and television stations are constantly updating their cancellations as well, so be sure to look for Waunakee and Verona Schools postings. Evening activity cancellations are not always listed on TV, so please do consult your email for a notice of cancellation from Musical Pathways Foundation.

Cancelled class due to teacher illness or absence:
Cancellations due to teacher illness or absence will be made-up at the end of the semester or scheduled during a regularly scheduled week-off during the semester. If a date is not rescheduled, a class credit will be recorded for use in a subsequent semester.
